I have been teaching piano since 2021, with a pupil age range of 3 to 40 years old. I want my lessons to be enjoyable - I never got on with the traditional route of grades and exams when I was young, and don't think it's an approach that should be adopted unquestioningly. Instead, I focus on fostering a love for music through lessons that cater to each student's unique interests and goals. Alongside standard scales and sight-reading, I've worked with pupils on improvisation, music theory, and musicianship.
